Saturday morning came and would you believe it...so did the Easter Bunny! This year he hid all the kids baskets! They have had so much fun playing treasure hunt lately, that the Easter Bunny thought they would enjoy taking a hunt for their baskets. All were quickly found and ripped open!
This is not an angry face, it is a "Rock-on, I found my awesome basket!" face.
This year, our Easter Baskets had these fun Klutz books in them. Each of the books will allow us to spend time together as a family utilizing our creative juices. We spent all day playing with each of the books. We all became experts: Carter at molding little clay animals, Chloe at Chinese jumproping, Mason at folding paper airplanes (his Primary teacher said he has been teaching the kids in his class how to make airplanes out of their coloring sheets!), Josie at coloring pictures with her body crayons and Matt at making thumb doodle-people. We all made beautiful jewelry with the pop beads as well. It was a great Family Saturday!
Each of the baskets had these adorable little Waddles in them. They are a chocolate egg with a little yellow marshmallow duck hiding inside. It was sad that they didn't hang around a little longer to adore...poor little fellows. They surely were yummy!

Then we went downstairs and hunted for our dozen of hard boiled eggs. Some were hid in the traditional "Hamilton Children" spots. We, of course, had to line up on the stairs youngest to oldest to begin the hunt.
There was even a very special Dinosaur Egg hidden as a bonus. Carter spotted it in the basket of pine cones while he was moving it to help Mason get an egg. He had the biggest sparkle in his eye for finding it.
He opened it up and found 6 little chocolate dinosaurs inside.
He was so kind to share with everyone!
Happy Bunny Day!
